chat targeting

as its often quite crowded in chat it'd be nice if instead of having to type someone's name to get their attention you could 'target' them with something like /t username, then it would highlight their chat window as if you'd said their name without having to type it in after that initial targeting.

or also a seperate highlight color for when friends are talking in the same chat. like if i'm in chat with 100 users, but two are friends, then when those users chat the background striping is blue or something to match the green.Score is 101

'Mark as Inappropriate' in Private Messages

I think there should be a 'mark as inappropriate' option in private messaging. All too often people are sexually and verbally harassed in private messages.

Also, maybe it would be a good idea to filter private messages from those you have ignored. That way, you don't even have to go through all the trouble of reporting somebody - just ignore content from that user all together.

If you go into a chat room, it should say something like:
Last message sent 5 minutes ago.
Whenever I go into a dead chat room and see a message there, I don't know if it was sent 2 hours ago, or 2 seconds ago.Score is 61

player rewards

i woke up having a dream that there were player rewards. not spamable contests though, rather rewards given to active/beneficial members.

initially i thought based on useful contributions to forums etc, but this only takes into account the activity i most perform, so perhaps also helpfulness in chat, or other rewardable behaviour.

rewards could be either special badges for display on profiles and / or coins.

in my dream i got the special badges for being overall the most awesome... hint hint.Score is 46

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I have this happen to me ALL the time. I've complained to AmiAthena and The Internet about it, and even sent AmiAthena COUNTLESS screenshots, and she agrees that something is wrong.

I'm posting here in the hope that 1) the appropriate admin will see it and hopefully look into it, and 2) perhaps see if other people have been suffering the same problem.

When the following screenshot was taken, I had been idling afk in "Library" for hours. I say one line, and the spam filter starts having a go at me.

I mean, what the hell ?!

I can't TALK half the time on nonoba chat anymore when i'm with friends in the nonob/a/ channel because of this and it frustrates the hell out of me :(

Developer groups

Don't know if I submitted this to the feedback yet ... but it should be possible to create a developer group with administrators and users, so that people can cooperate on and share control over a game.Score is 42

games status

make it possible to change the state/status of a game without uploading a 'new' version.

this also lets you roll back the version to a unreleased state if you find major bugs.Score is 41

Symbol for ignored users.

Just like the hearts for users on your friends lists you should add a red angry face for ignored users. It'd be usefull because at the moment there is no easy way of determining who you have and haven't ignored.Score is 34

Highscore management.

Allow us to set maximum/min values a player could get. For example, if we know it's impossible to get more than 1000 points on level 1, let us set that as a limit so people cannot cheat to get above that.

Also, allow us to delete values from the highscore table, either from the game page or the game management page.

Mochi allow us to do it and it works pretty well. And as for the one thing people will say that's bad about this (developers removing legit scores to boost people higher and the like) that will not matter, because people would just stop playing the game. Their loss.Score is 33

Themes

I think we should be able to pick different themes, like in the old Nonoba. I'm already tired of the boring blue Playbar and it would be cool if we could change the color of it.Score is 33

Bad word-Toggling

Perhaps we could have the ability to toggle the censors on-off?Score is 30

Mutes instead of bans...

It gets a bit annoying when someone is banned because aside from a warning there is no other punishment. Why not add mutes so the user can still play games, earn achievements etc as normal but cannot talk in game chat. It would mean people could have temp mutes instead of temp bans for minor offences.

Also "recent news" notification of someone being banned and the length of the ban on our my/home would be nice.Score is 29

Stop forcing the site on API users.

Okay, a few changes are needed on the API.
-Customisable Lobby. (Let us make a swf with components which overwrite the current ones, such as buttons, chat box backgrounds and main background, etc. We don't need control over the layout so you can keep the logo).

-Allow viewing of highscoreboard and rankboards IN GAME, a popup like mochiads (or yours for payment) would work. People won't use it for huge games solely because people HAVE to come to nonoba to view the boards.

-Add the ability for us to check whether or not a user has an achievement, at the moment the DataAPI has to be used, it's just another hurdle for developers, make it easier.

So basically showLeaderboard("board"), checkAchievement("achievement") and a customisable lobby.Score is 27

Messages.

In recent times on nonoba, i've been getting a TORRENT of idiotic messages from people, who, when I ignore their messages (don't reply or delete,) continue to send me more messages. My suggestion is, is that I'd like it if you /i someone, that this automatically blocks messages from them. Thank you for your time, and I'm sorry if this is a repost.Score is 26

Question option.

When a user has a question about the site, it usually ends up here despite the forums. It will then get downrated and buried without an answer because it doesn't fit.

Maybe you could add a "Question" option to feedback adding in order to accomodate for this?Score is 26
