/go is usually used to switch chatrooms. However, used in conjunction with games that utilize the Multiplayer API, it can result in some interesting behavior.
In the lobby area of multiplayer games, /go functions normally, only adding the Change Room link to the top of the chat area. As far as I can tell, you can't get back to the original game lobby area. On the whole, I don't think this behavior is bad.
In the game rooms, it works less well. The first use of /go will put you into an odd state where everything you or others in the game room do gets repeated. The Change Room link is active, hovering over the Create New Game button and behaving correctly, bringing up a list of rooms. However, clicking on any of these rooms pops up a login dialog that doesn't appear to do anything. I can't accurately describe what happens to the game you're playing. If you haven't started playing, it seems that you're kicked out of the room. If you have, apparently you can continue playing.
