My instant thought regarding this is that of shared IP addresses. What if another individual on the same computer/network/IP wished to sign up on Nonoba, and were well within our restrictions? How can we let this apparent bypass through?

Another contribution I wish to share is the level of permanence behind the proposal - a month, let alone a year is far too long for a blacklist entry which can be the result of three misinterpreted or wrongly inputted fields of data.

I understand the valid explanation of the need to apply and uphold the law of COPPA but however tough it may be, I feel this solution is, while useful in the short term, is simply too weak and inefficient for what is a constantly growing gaming community.

COPPA law is forced in the USA. Nonoba's main sever is in Denmark and I think there's no severs in the US

I think people take themselves and nonoba to seriously perhaps... Matts way of "punishment" fails.

Sometimes older members put down a younger age then they there true age also the user account greeter nonoba would be ban so it's kinda a bad idea. Also Younger members can lie about their age
