Also, it's not my browser or my os. Because even though I use Ubuntu, other sites (roosterteeth, myspace, youtube, gmail) automatically log me in, or in the case of myspace and roosterteeth, it remembers my login info so I just have to push log in.
Posted 4 months agothat doesn't mean it's not the browser. check in your settings to see if it has "don't save passwords for nonoba" enabled or wahtever... i'd track down the right wording, but it's too early.
i had to go through the same thing with concept share and some other sites i was doing... i don't know why but ff just decided i didn't want to save those passwords.
And it does the same thing on my other computers.
Posted 4 months agoalso on ff/ubuntu? which ff?
Posted 4 months agoNo, this is the only computer that I have Ubuntu on. the rest are Windows 2000 and XP. I have Firefox on all of them, but this firefox is different. It came with the ubuntu install, the other versions I have are the download versions.
Posted 4 months agoyes but which version? and you're sure sure you checked all your settings?
what aboot your firewallings?
Okay I have no idea what the settings say. also, I can't turn off firewall because of lol spyware
Posted 4 months agowell if i were a jerk i'd say just don't install anything with spyware... and stop looking at so much pron =p
however, you should be able to find the settings for your firewall and make sure it's not somehow eating your login stuff. but i think it's in your ff settings somewhere. or maybe your connection is wonky?
there was another thread where someone said it was their firewall, not sure if that'll help.
if i had more time i'd help more, but you have a google too.
I know that some people have trouble with the "remember me" function, but I have no idea what's causing it. Do you guys always clear your cookies or something? Do you deny cookies from Nonoba?
Posted 4 months agoI seriously doubt it's got anything to do with firewalls or OS, if you check the "remember me" button, we store a permanent authentication cookie. If you close your browser and then go to Nonoba, your browser should send this cookie back, and Nonoba should log you in automatically. It's not rocket science. :-)
Posted 4 months agobut to a rocket scientist, is brain surgery "rocket science"? meaning to someone who doesn't know things are much more difficult than to someone who does.
i agree, i think its cooke preventions. maybe it's set to not give cookies to bad kids?
[off to eat browser cookies]
nummy!
I have browser set to accept cookies, it still doesn't work. I'll try again.
Posted 4 months agotry going into options -> privacy and make sure "accept cookies" is checked, then see if it keeps you logged in.
Posted 4 months agoI changed the cookies setting to accept all cookies, and I input my login info, I set it to remember, I logged in, I logged back out, it was still blank.
Posted 4 months agoOh, then it works as it should. We probably should change the label on the checkbox, it means "stay logged in", not "remember what was typed in the login fields".
Try this: Log in, quit your browser, start your browser, go to Nonoba. Are you still logged in?
No, I closed browser, went to http://www.nonoba.com/my/home and it said "You must be logged in to access this page" And the login info bars were both blank with the remember me button checked
Posted 4 months agoWell, login info bars should be blank, we're not remembering your username for you that way.
But you shouldn't log out simply from closing your browser. Hmm...
Hmm indeed. And I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Os because it does the same on my Win 2000, my Win XP, and my Ubuntu computers
Posted 4 months agoand also in other browsers on the same computer? or just ff?
Posted 3 months agois it set to clear cookies / private information on browser closing?
Posted 3 months agoNo, it is not.
Posted 3 months agoDoes it work in IE tab or Internet explorer?
Posted 6 days agoDoes that bug happen when you close it in-game on purpose and you go back to that web page?
