Make it impossible to delete forumposts, and put a timelimit on the edit feature.
People are erasing messages, editing views making it impossible to follow a discussion in a thread.

A thought just occurred to me: Is there any way to view the date a flash was submitted? There should be.

The reason they got removed from the chat was because they caused lag (I think). But they would be nice to add to private topics. You would have to worry about stuff like,

"Sarah was angry :Pete had broken her vibrator"

Where the :P would transform into a smiley because, lets be honest, probably only about a fraction of a percent of people know where colons are appropriate on Nonoba.

Obviously it would be susceptible to spamming, but maybe if that was ALSO FIXED as it has probably been suggested a hundred or so times now, then we would be ok.

I like that games I've rated shows on myhome, i would also like to see myratedgames that's sortable by the rating that you gave, or the date you rated it. Similar to myfavorite/games.

A proposal for the introduction of topics that 'stick' to the top of the relevant forum no matter what else is posted beneath them.

Why?
For now I think the main reason would be to make 'FAQ' like topics and stick it to the main forum page. Mainly on the CSS matter, there are topics on this closed all the time.
A sticky topic with some helpful links inside would, I believe, cut the number of topics on the matter, or at the very least provide a general topic for questions on the matter to be asked and answered.

It'd be nice to have those added to the code wrapper, i think it would make peoples messes more presentable and add consistent look and feel to forums {where they bothered to use them}.

In the same kind of way you let people choose what they get emails for use the same kind of forms to let us choose who can view anything on the left side of our profile (i.e. the large picture, text about us and posting comment) and our description (which would change from "Toby is a 16 year-old guy living in Cornwall and has been a memeber for almost a year" to "Toby has been a member for almost a year.")

By "who can view" I don't mean making permissions for each individual user, options like "Allow Everyone" "No-one" or "Allow Friends" would suffice.
This way people could still see our games, achievements, friends and then put a "This person has blocked their profile to non-friends. Click here to add them" text at the top.

I wouldn't use this but I know quite a few people would. ;)

There are a surprisingly large amount of grammatical and spelling errors in the developer section of the site and it makes you seem a tad unprofessional (it looks like you haven't proof read it). Just getting someone to skim through each page, checking the authography, grammar and that the links are valid (many are not) would get things working again.

Make them only viewable if the user is logged in and on a predefined list of allowed users (from the developer obviously). This means we could let people try out our games beforehand without worrying about them being spread everywhere.

It gets a bit annoying when someone is banned because aside from a warning there is no other punishment. Why not add mutes so the user can still play games, earn achievements etc as normal but cannot talk in game chat. It would mean people could have temp mutes instead of temp bans for minor offences.

Also "recent news" notification of someone being banned and the length of the ban on our myhome/ would be nice.

This used to be so much more fun before it lagged to death. Perhaps options to toggle the display of node types and user types would benefit. Say you can click and only display game pages, or turn of guest tracking, or only show etc etc.

Pushing the update to the page when you have new mail is silly, but what if there were an inbox notification in the chat?

Alright, while the option to emote in a different color can be nice, it would seem that the younger Nonobians have no idea what it's for and abuse it like a Preschooler with a fresh box of crayons. I don't have a problem with a few splotches of pink and blue here or there, but when conversations are being colored there's a problem.

:P Anyway, I have two suggestions:
#1: Enable the Mods to revoke one's emoting privileges in the case of abuse, or
#2: Let users have the ability to decide whether or not they want to see colored text.

I'd just be much happier knowing I'm not going to be assaulted with an onslaught of color everytime I enter a room. :)

Currently, the only game awards we have on the site are Weekly and Monthly awards. We need moar, methinks. Not for money, of course. Perhaps something for game with more than 10,000, 100,000, 1 million, etc., and games voted more than 100 times, 500 times, 1,000 times, etc., like some sort of bronzesilvergolddiamondetc. thing, etc.

there should be a link on your homepage where you can see all the comments you made on any game....

because it's so hard to remember where you made a comment or didn't....

This is 2 different suggestions:

1. I have seen extremely long comments on some profiles and they're very annoying. There should be a maximum of 500 to 1,000 characters including spaces and line breaks.

2. You should be allowed to edit posts, comments, etc. That way, there is no multiple posting.

when i go and respond to my email it sent and the wrong profile came up on the response...
