More weapons

you guys are...idk what to name it lol.who in what mind would make a weapon in a game that will make you win every time?

id say more weapons and cars would be good but you guys are going over the line lol

...Even if there's low chance that things will be added, I'd like to point out the things that I think are good ideas (I'll credit the first person who posted it here):

1) Car integrity (stat, not weapon): Amount of damage your car can take before 'blowing up' ~Strokend (nobody SPECIFICALLY said what damage would be doing!)

2) Exploding car (not weapon--happens when Car integrity reaches 0): Car becomes a 'shell' for a bit, unable to move until 'restored' ~Master525 (came with weapon suggestion, suggested exploded car lasts 5 seconds in that post)

3) Secondary/extra weapons: Weapons that can be equipped alongside primary weapons, or extra slots to have more than one weapon equipped. ~jannerfish

4) Glue/Tar: Drops a splat of substance (similar to Oil) that slows the opponent for a bit of time--Perhaps varying levels depending on which one is used. ~38 Mario Pk (Suggested Glue)

5) Tire armor (stat(?), not weapon): Certain tires should have armor in able to defend against certain attacks. ie: 0 for none, +1 for substance resistance (oil), +2 for shredding resistance (spikes)--a 3 would have both of them. ~Strokend

6) Spikes: Shreds tires, halving speed for a bit of time. ~38 Mario PK

7) Shield: Protects player against weapons for a short amount of time. ~Master525 (though he spelled it wrong)

8) Disruptor Shock: AOE around your car that disables controls for a short amount of time for other cars. ~Blackhole555 (Sabotage missiles)

9) Sabotage Missile: A(n) (unguided) missile that creats an AOE upon exploding that will disable the controls of cars for a short amount of time. Denonates upon impact or after a short bit of time after launch. ~Blackhole555 (I tweaked it a bit)

10) Reverse Steering: A weapon (Direct AOE, direct hit(missile), AOE missile? Not sure which) that causes a driver's steering to be reversed for about 8 seconds??--Up is reverse, Left is right, etc. ~Blackhole555

11) Bodies (not weapons): Different bodies for your vehicle--size, shape, etc. ~Blackhole555 (Seeing a drift yet? This guy seems to hav emade a bunch of good ideas)

12) Guns. Deal damage to enemy cars--Some may have a chance of causing 'status effects' (ie shredded tires). Limited ammo--shoots towards nearest car (or mouse cursor). ~38 Mario PK (First person to suggest weapons--suggested the UZI.)

13) Paint bomb/gun: Minimal (if any) damage, but puts splotches on the player's game screen, preventing them from being able to see for a short bit of time. ~BuildAndPwn (Was close with 'flash' idea--enough that I'll credit him)

14) Powerups: Objects laying around the track that do something when obtained/used by a player. examples are wrench (restores integrity), speed up (a couple-of-seconds boost to acceleration and top-speed), and shield (similar to the 'weapon' only lasts for a shorter time). ~Sokaro


15) Hall of Shameful ideas: A list (somewhere outside of the race probably) of ideas that were so silly they get posted there so people can point and laugh at them--ie. the "Ultimate Nuke" suggested by "38 Mario PK" and "master525". ~Strokend

see what im getting to is,if like its on the last lap and its the final stretch,then like do the disrupter and you automaticly win cheaply and the guy who you disabled gets in like 3rd or 4th place :P

some are good but you gotta think about really using those weapons and how it will affect the game.

another thing id like to point out is lag!nonoba racer sends only car position and rotation to the server.if like you add alot of things to be transfered,the game will drasticly lag.i know about some of this stuff.

Hahah, yeah, true, which is half of why I think most of the stuff won't get added if any of it. Seriously, the only logical candidate to be added would be new tracks (though that's not something that should be mentioned on this thread :P)

PS: I KNOW this is off-topic for weapons, but the game REALLY needs to either default to chat on the bar to the right of the game, or needs its own chatbar thing (like Snakes has).

MORE WEAPONS(i cant shut up)

Calidoscope:Make that the other players drive anywere(make the screen wobbly and rotating, of you understand me)

Hail Storm:Throw ice that cover the road

Napalm:Burn a sector of the road

Napalm Storm:Cover the road whit fire

MASS DRIVER:Make fall a BIG adteroid on a random sector of the lap(huge AOE too)

Magic Wall:Put a wall in the road

MAGIC FOREST:Put a lot of walls in the road

LEAD BALLON:A litle ballon that send a car out of the race(and steal all his/her coins)

CRAZY WALL:Like the magic wall only that the wall can shot

MISTERY BOMBS:Shot 4 rockets that change all his/her stats(and steals coins)

Other:

Put your ideas!:Put your ideas in the game(if they are acepted you win coins)

COOL STUFF GUYS:

-possibility to charge and fire a laz0r that shoops other cars.

-over nine thousand mines

-pedobear homing attack(shoots a pedobear that rapes near cars)

...Seriously, the hall of shame is sounding like a good idea at this time.

STUFF THAT SHOULD NEVER BE IMPLEMENTED:
NUKES.
Stuff that steals coins.
NUKES.

Spikes on the car:Make damage to the other cars(you must put the spikes in the wheels,the roof,etc)

Fire tubes:Pipes under the car that throw fire(and add accelerattion)burning the other cars

Dirtball:A dirtball

Dirt slinger:Make a piramid of dirt

Big dirtball:Dirtball big brother

MUD PIE:Make a mountain of dirt

CHAOS GRENADE:MAKE A CHAOS OF WEAPONS

ok guns how about a huge mini gun whitch can be placed in the topf of ur car while ur driveing u can shoot it with Q for 1 burst and E for multiburst u can control its direction with thr W A S D keys this whoud be handy to experianced racers who want to fidget a bit more with there free hand ^^

also a frag granade if it hits ur opponents wind screen for 14 secs his middle view will be blocked it will come back slowly

gunner troop its basicly like the mini gun but its a auto fire and u dont have to control it it has limited ammo tho the minigun ahs more u can have 2 gunners if ur useing a truck 3 if ur useing a van and 1 if useing a sports car


u can use napaalm it can be bought in levels its a permamnant itam it activeates auto at lvl 3

lasers u can strap automatic lasers to the side of ur windows or at back of ur car eny direction thay can be glued or blown off tho

a sticky wall it holds a viecle in place it has a 10 second time to make it again one time every race it will stay there perm for 1 round if ur in first palce it is ur best friend if thay see it coming of if thay have gunners thay can shoot it
slow motion UPGRADED for all the others ur traveling at normal speed but for u ir 30% slower

clone u can use clone a max of 7 times on every round to use it click 6 it will make duplicates of ur car it wil go to nearest opponent car and try and smash them into the wall if theres 3 or more at a car that car becomes a clone takeing up one of the 7 for them thay are in ghost tho the only way to avade a clones is to axcelarate as fast as u can if 3 get u stuck then ur one of them


casper the friendly ghost its activeated once race only it turns every body ecept u into a ghost in other words insant win

adding to the wall of shame:

NUKES.

better idea for ice. it trails out the back of your car unlike oil it its slip does not last as long

I think there should be a race type for sprint, and you can use a weapon in that race that can blow up your opponents car. not permenantly, of course. The race wouldnt need to be pretty long, though.. :S

How about Laser Artillery?

More body car types would be cool too, Because this could also reduce Drag making the car faster
