1. i'm not fussed. skill levels are rarely equal at the time and place. if someone wins the first match, it's almost guaranteed they'll win the second too.
2. i'm fine with one match a week, or more often. time to prepare isn't necessary, as it's just for fun. however there should be a wait long enough for everyone to decide on a suitable time.

7 weeks ago | Post #5 | in reply to #3By preparation I meant finding a suitable time for each group (4 players).
adjective: It will start when I feel that everyone has registered who wanted.
However, players can register even after the start if they wish.

- Don't make it too long :)
- It's fine to take time to find a suitable time for each group
- 2 match to win a group maybe is better
- How do u tink to make group of players with the same skill? In a championship the winner is just one, unless we thought to split the championship...

7 weeks ago | Post #9no he said it's a swiss tournament style. So it's a point system I believe for everyone, however "good" players who win meet other "good" players who win, while losers meet other losers in the next round, thus equally skilled players are pitted against each other. Then all points are calculated for every player regardless of his skills, and each one is compared with EVERYONE in a point ranks. hbala I'm not sure, but would it be a good idea if a player gets 1 point for a win, and 0.5 points if he came in second?

7 weeks ago | Post #10 | in reply to #7In the beginning rounds players can earn points by playing the matches. The groups for each round will be set by the current standings of points. Good ones with good ones, betters with betters (of course there isn't any bad player :)). This is the style of the swiss system (but it is only make sense with many players).
Yes, thanks LightBeam, you were quicker. The seconds will also receive points for sure.

I don't mind which ever suits other players,
I don't need to prepare, its just for fun it doesn't matter if I don't win although I would like to but there is no chance!
