I don't understand the achievement key. Could someone please explain it to me?

you'll first have to explain what you mean.

It's the identifier that you choose for each achievement you setup, so that you can award it from your actionscript code.

If you check that example, it shows you how to award the achievement with the key "monsterkill" from your game, assuming you also have set up an achievements in your Edit Game page with the key "monsterkill".
