restarting of the forums

Do to fucking retards reviving old forums threads it is in my believe that all forum threads should be deleted and the forums should be restarted, possibly with a more various selection of categories, such as a constant css forum for new users, I remember someone asking for a section for "forum games". I'm sure there may be more but it is undeniable that this needs to stop.
Any support on this would be apreciated, any ideas would probably be good too.Last edited 6 weeks ago

This kind of problem is not very common on other forum I go to but in some forums they have it so posting in a thread does not bump up upwards.
Instead the forums are set up from newest thread to oldest. Having people able to use a Bump thread button to bring it back to the first page, but it can only be done by the original poster of the thread.
On others they have it so when you post on a thread it bumps it up on the list.
Example say this thread was the 5th in the forum this post would bump to the 4th. Having the next post bump it up to 3rd.
Both of these could solve the problems of bring back to many dead threads.
More ideas
A limit to how many times your posts can bump a topic to the front page.
After a forum does get any news posts having a time limit it becomes locked.
Only so many pages can be bumped from the 3 page or higher a day.
With some of these ideas I think you could set it so each person can change it to how they want to view the forums from an option menu or something.

I also agree with more categories in the forums CSS help would make a good one same with forum games because they pretty much just fill up the off topic section.

Here is the code I found for it, I suggest this be added to nonoba's main data base to stop this shit from happening.
Also to stop "Murphy's law" from happening I recommend threads with the last post being over 1 month old be subjected to a semi-lock meaning any posts on it would require a admin/mods permission to be revived.
