What do you do to a two-headed monster?

There is a monster loose in your neiborhood. One head sucks on blood while the other eats the remains. You must beat it by throwing something at it. The answer to this riddle is the way to beat the monster.

Let me guess, get the one head to eat the other one, or something like that?

Throw a rock at the one who eats blood, then some blood will be exposed, so it eats itself and some remands are left and then the other one eats it.
