Who is Godot?

Godot (Diego Armando) is a fictional video game character from Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, and here is his backstory;

Godot is a prosecutor who wears an electronic visor and drinks copious amounts of coffee during court sessions. His real name is Diego Armando in the English version and Souryu Kaminogi in the Japanese version. He was a coworker of Mia Fey when they both worked at Marvin Grossberg's law firm, and eventually, both developed a romantic interest in each other. Diego was poisoned by Dahlia Hawthorne during a case involving Dahlia's boyfriend, causing him to fall into a coma for five years. When he recovered, he was blind, his hair was completely white, and Mia was dead. He changed his name to Godot and became a prosecutor in order to make sure that Mia's sister Maya Fey was cared for, even challenging Phoenix for letting Mia die.

We wait. We are bored. No, don't protest, we are bored to death, there's no denying it. Good. A diversion comes along and what do we do? We let it go to waste. . .In an instant all will vanish and we'll be alone once more, in the midst of nothingness!

The tears of the world are a constant quantity. For each one who begins to weep, somewhere else another stops. The same is true of the laugh. Let us not then speak ill of our generation, it is not any unhappier than its predecessors. Let us not speak well of it either. Let us not speak of it at all.

 The Ongoing Story

My whole life is just an ongoing, story, a neverending tragedy, a poem stuck in a depression... If my life continues this way, the story will end in a terrible, terrible mourning... An ongoing story, is just death wrapped in a tortilla roll... A poem, with no ending, just the last chapter of a story, coming to a sadening close, only to be read again, in someone else's eyes...
