Please improve the hit detection of the snake with the food in advanced mode. Many times the head hits the food but unless it's straight on it doesn't eat it.

Is this game on a torus? I accidentally discovered that if I go too low, I wind up at the top, so then I tried and I think I froze it up. Was that first time a fluke? I really like this game a lot

The playing field in Advanced Mode does indeed wrap (it's supposed to :) ). I've never encountered any freezing, though. How exactly did it happen?

Thanks. I figured out after I wrote the last comment that it does wrap, which is nice. I'm not sure exactly how the freeze happened, but I remember noticing after it froze that it looked as if I had run into a body part down at the bottom of the screen, as if my snake's body was up at the top with a very small amount of wrapping over to the bottom, which was not the case. There were two small arcs at the bottom which didn't belong there, at least after it froze. It only happened once though.

I remember playing QBasic Nibbles against my dad when I was a kid. It had walls around the edges, so that's probably why Advansnake does, too :) Nibbles also had obstacles around the play area. Perhaps I'll do an Advansnake 2 with these as optional features :)

Good computer version of the original "Snake" game. The Anvance is a bit easy even though u cant get the strawberry or the watermelon. Plus when you press back in classic mode u do die and that wasnt in the Phone version of the game. 9.9 out of 10 I flaw :)

The classic mode of this is really good aside from the fact that when I pressed back the game was over. That surprised me a little but was easy enough to get used to. I didn't like the way it slowed down when you got a.. thing. I ended up crashing into a wall that I shouldn't really have crashed into because it was spending time growing. I guess that could just be me being a bit crap at the game though :P
I found the advanced mode really difficult, though.

Perhaps I should elaborate. Fruits appear whenever the multiplier reaches a multiple of 10. Cherries appear when it reaches 10, grapes on 20 and so on

Its pretty good.
But please make the "mouth" bigger in advanced mode.
I often miss the fruit for a fraction of a milimeter and then all work is destroyed.
And in classic mode you shouldnt be able to go "backwards" ...
